A breakthrough in Christian family budgeting…Personal Budget Planning

Proverbs 21:5
“The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenty; but the thoughts of everyone who is hasty only to poverty.”

It’s difficult to be “diligent” if the money keeps going out faster than it comes in. And it’s hard to “tend only to plenty” when month after month you’re asking yourself where it all went. But Mvelopes is going to change all of that. It makes it easy to create a Christian budget.

Now, for the first time ever, there’s a budget planner software that warns you when you’re getting close to overspending in a category of your budget. Quicken® and MS® Money can’t say that. In fact, Mvelopes is the only product on the market that can claim to stop your overspending before it happens. Make a household budget and stop overspending.

Stewart R., Journeyman Electrician
“My wife and I have been using Mvelopes Personal for over 4 months and have eliminated ALL of our consumer debt! It has saved us more than once from impulse buys and unnecessary finance charges. Once you’ve used it, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.”

Here’s how Mvelopes makes family budgeting so easy…

Remember the old way of budgeting? You’d put the cash allotment for food in an envelope marked “food,” then you’d put your budgeted amount for auto in your “auto” folder, and so on. Ta da! Instant family budgeting.

Sometimes we laugh at this method, but the fact remains, when the money was gone it was gone. You didn’t overspend because you couldn’t, unless you went digging in another envelope. The envelope system was extremely effective.

Now, with Mvelopes, this effective system of family budgeting is possible in a cashless society. You never have to feel guilty again when the offering plate goes by, because month after month you’ll have extra money to use.

Stacy B., Cosmetologist
“I love Mvelopes Personal because it actually sets aside money for upcoming periodic expenses. All the other “budgeting” programs we tried were only good for tracking what we had already spent - not telling us how much was left to spend from before we made a purchase.”

My wife and I are trying to set up a family budget that we will be able to stick to, and that won’t take a lot of our time. I don’t believe we will have much of a problem following all of the major items like mortgage, car payment, etc. What gets us behind are all of the incidentials like going to Home Depot and Target. There’s no question that we do a lot of impulse shopping, but have a hard time changing our ways. We use debit cards for all purchases and have been wondering if perhaps going on the cash system would help us. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated, especially anyone who has had this happen to them.
